A key meeting between design and hotel contracting

Interihotel Madrid 2024 has established itself as the main meeting point in southern Europe for professionals in the design of hotel and contract spaces. Much more than an exhibition, this fair represents an authentic ecosystem where three essential pillars of the sector converge: design brands, interior designers and architects, and hospitality professionals.

A value proposition for hospitality projects

Ambiazza participated in this edition with a proposal aligned with the spirit of the fair: premium design, Mediterranean comfort and custom solutions. Our collection of poufs welcomed all attendees at the main entrance, creating a relaxation corner that reflected the essence of the brand: design that invites you to live the space.

This blog is accompanied by a selection of images of the Ambiazza stand, with the Cala poufs as the protagonists of the access to the fair. A sample of how well applied design generates memorable atmospheres.

Pieces designed for luxury exteriors

During the event we presented new lounge furniture pieces, modular systems and premium parasols in wood and aluminum. These solutions are specially designed for hotels, terraces, resorts and demanding outdoor spaces, with resistant, customizable finishes and strong aesthetic character.

Each piece reflects our approach as an outdoor atelier: custom products that combine durability, design and comfort, elevating the guest experience and the perception of space.

A forward-looking talk “IMPACT Design” at Interihotel 2024: a dialogue on design, sustainability and emotion

Intervention of our Brand Manager, Joel Bravo

As part of Interihotel Madrid 2024, one of the highlights was the round table “Dialogues: IMPACT Design”, an inspiring conversation that brought together key profiles of design, industry and innovation applied to the hospitality channel.

Moderated by Mireia Cervera (architect and member of Interihotel’s creative committee), the talk addressed how design can – and should – generate a positive impact, not only aesthetically, but also socially, emotionally and environmentally.

Among the speakers was Joel Bravo, Brand Manager of Ambiazza, who contributed his vision as a specialist in personalized and sustainable outdoor design. He was joined at the table:

  • Arantzazu Esnaola – Lamadrid Group
  • José Manuel Ferrero – estudi{H}ac
  • Manuel Delgado – IKEA
  • Anna Ferrer – CŪ4 Architecture
  • Enrique Quirós Domínguez – SONAE Arauco
  • Elena Sastre – WeAreFurtivo

The dialogue shared experiences, challenges and strategies from different angles of the sector: from large-scale distribution to ateliers, from the industrial fabric to signature design. The conversation revolved around how to design spaces that inspire and care for people, especially in the context of hotels, resorts and hospitality spaces where experience is everything.

Joel Bravo spoke about the role of exterior design in this approach, and how Ambiazza works with durable materials, customized solutions and a clear Mediterranean inspiration to create environments of real well-being. He stressed that “comfort, aesthetics and sustainability are not parallel lines, but one and the same direction.”

This meeting was a sample of the spirit of Interihotel: an event that not only showcases products, but also promotes critical thinking, collaboration and design with purpose.
