At Lantana Beach, shade becomes part of the restaurant’s visual identity.
Located in a seaside setting, the project required a parasol solution that could offer comfort, protection and a distinctive Mediterranean presence. Ambiazza developed a customised version of its 3-metre round aluminium parasol, finished with a special Fringe detail and a bespoke blue textile design created for the project.
The result is a parasol that does more than provide shade. It brings rhythm to the outdoor area, frames the sun loungers and reinforces the relaxed coastal atmosphere of Lantana Beach.
The blue pattern connects naturally with the sea, the sky and the restaurant’s visual language, while the fringe adds softness, movement and a more handcrafted character to the piece.

The customised parasols were designed to integrate into the restaurant’s outdoor environment with a strong but balanced presence. Their aluminium structure provides a light and functional base, while the textile design gives the project its distinctive identity.
Placed along the beach lounge area, the parasols create a repeated visual rhythm that guides the space without making it feel rigid. Each piece offers shade for moments of rest, dining or relaxation by the sea, while maintaining the open and informal character of the setting.
The Fringe design adds a refined textile detail to the parasol. It softens the silhouette, brings movement with the sea breeze and gives the design a warmer, more Mediterranean expression.
In this project, customisation is not only decorative. It is what allows the parasol to belong fully to the place. The blue design, the fringe and the round shape work together to create shade with identity.
